Step 5 : Sauté the Veggies

In the same pan used for beef, sauté onion, garlic, and ginger for 1 minute. Add blanched broccoli, capsicum, and carrots. Add a splash of water, stir, and cook for 3 minutes. Stir in coriander and spring onion.

400 ml Water for Rice
180 g Basmati Rice
320 g Flank Steak
50 ml Soy Sauce
10 ml Toasted Sesame Oil
120 g Red Onion
130 g Carrot
120 g Broccoli
10 g Ginger
7 g Garlic
100 ml Home Made Vegetable Stock
140 g Yellow Bell Pepper
7 g Coriander Leaves
7 g Spring Onion

Step 1 : Marinate the Beef

Marinate beef strips in soy sauce and sesame oil. Set aside.

Step 3 : Pan-fry the Beef

Heat a frying pan with a drizzle of oil over medium heat. Pan-fry the beef, for 7 minutes. Add the onion, garlic, and ginger, and cook for 1 minute. Meanwhile, boil a cooking pot of water over high heat.

Step 2 : Cook the Rice

Rinse rice under cold water until clear. Bring measured water to a boil, add rice and salt, cook uncovered for 1 minute, then cover and simmer on low for 12 minutes. Remove from heat and let it steam.

Step 4 : Prep the Ingredients

Finely chop onion, garlic, and ginger. Peel and julienne carrots. Blanch broccoli florets in boiling water for 1-2 minutes, drain. Slice yellow capsicum and spring onions, and chop coriander.

Step 6 : Serve and Enjoy!

Place beef on a plate alongside the fluffy rice. Top with the sautéed vegetables. Enjoy your meal!
