Before you start

Step 5 : Toast the Bread

Chop chives and mix with cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Butter bread slices, top with cheese mix, and bake on a tray in the oven for 3-5 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.

100 ml Pasta's Cooking Water
180 g Linguine Pasta
100 g Red Onion
5 g Garlic
7 g Fresh Parsley
6 g Parmesan Cheese
280 g Minced Beef
7 g Basil Leaves
200 g Home Made Tomato Sauce
135 g White Bread, Sliced
20 g Butter
20 g Shredded Mozzarella
20 g White Cheddar Cheese
2 g Chives

Step 1 : Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of water with 1/2 tsp salt to a boil, add spaghetti, and cook for 10-12 minutes until al dente. Drain, saving one cup of pasta water.

Step 3 : Pan-fry the Beef

In a pan with olive oil over medium-high heat, cook minced beef for 3-5 minutes until browned. Season with salt and pepper, then add garlic and onion, cooking for another 1-2 minutes.

Step 2 : Prep the Ingredients

Finely chop garlic and red onion. Also, finely chop basil and parsley leaves.

Step 4 : Simmer the Sauce

Pour reserved pasta water and tomato sauce into the pan, add chopped basil, bring to a boil, then simmer on medium heat for 7-9 minutes. Add cooked pasta, season with salt and pepper, sprinkle 3/4 of parsley, and simmer for 3-5 minutes.

Step 6 : Serve and Enjoy!

Serve pasta garnished with Parmesan cheese and remaining parsley, with crusty cheesy bread.
