Before you start
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to cooking. Boil a cooking pot of measured water.

Step 5 : Toss with the Sauce
In the same pan, lightly sauté the spinach, blanched snow peas, and green beans with 1/2 of the remaining teriyaki sauce.
450 ml Water
140 g Freekeh
280 g Salmon Fillet
180 ml Home Made Teriyaki Sauce
100 g Green Beans
60 g Baby Spinach
80 g Snow Peas
2 g Mixed Sesame Seeds

Step 1 : Bake the Salmon
Marinate the salmon in a baking dish with 1/4 of the homemade teriyaki sauce for 10-15 minutes, then bake at 180°C (350°F) for 8-12 minutes.

Step 3 : Prep the Veggies
Trim both edges of the green beans and snow peas.
Step 2 : Cook the Freekeh
Rinse the freekeh thoroughly. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil, add the freekeh, and cook uncovered for 15 minutes. Then cover, reduce to low heat, and cook for another 15 minutes. Remove from heat afterwards.
Step 4 : Blanch the Veggies
Bring another pot of salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and snow peas, blanch for 1-2 minutes, then drain.
Step 6 : Serve and Enjoy!
Serve the freekeh on plates, top with the baked salmon, and add the sautéed vegetables. Drizzle with the sauce from the vegetables, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and pour the remaining teriyaki sauce.
