Step 5 : Simmer the Sauce
Return beef to the pan, add cinnamon stick, and pour in water and vegetable cube. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 4-6 minutes. Stir in cooking cream and simmer for a minute. Add sour cream, mix well, season with salt and pepper.

Step 1 : Prep the Ingredients
Quarter button mushrooms, and chopped red and yellow peppers into small cubes, and finely chop garlic and white onion. Finely chop parsley leaves for garnishing. Meanwhile. Bring the measured salted water to boil using a cooking pot.

Step 3 : Pan-fry the Beef
Heat a pan with olive oil over medium-high heat. Add sliced beef, season with salt and black pepper, and cook for 3-5 minutes until golden brown, then set aside to rest.
Step 2 : Cook the Rice
Rinse basmati rice until water runs clear, add to boiling water, cook uncovered for 1-3 minutes, then cover and simmer on low for 12 minutes; set aside with lid on.
Step 4 : Pan-fry the Veggies
In the same pan, melt butter. Add onions, cooking for 2-3 minutes, then garlic for 10- 30 seconds until fragrant. Add mushrooms, cook for 3-5 minutes, then bell peppers for 4-7 minutes.
Step 6 : Serve and Enjoy!
Serve casserole in a bowl, garnished with chopped parsley. Accompany with cooked basmati rice.
