Before you start

Preheat the oven to 180 Degrees Celcius or a bread toaster. Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh
fruits and vegetables prior to cooking.

Step 5 : Toast the Bread

Place bread slices on a tray. Toast in the oven for 2 minutes, spread garlic butter, then toast for 2 more minutes until golden.

180 g Penne Pasta
300 g Shrimp
2 g Onion Powder
5 g Cajun Seasoning
7 g Garlic
140 g White Onion
140 g Red Bell Pepper
7 g Fresh Parsley
300 ml Pasta's Cooking Water
100 ml Cooking Cream
20 g Parmesan Cheese
135 g White Bread, Sliced
45 g Garlic Butter
120 g Fresh Lemon

Step 1 : Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta for 8-10 minutes until al dente, reserve a cup of the pasta water, then drain and set aside.

Step 3 : Cook the Shrimp

Heat a cooking pot with a drizzle of oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 4 minutes.

Step 2 : Prep the Ingredients

Marinate the shrimp with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper in a bowl. Mix well to ensure even coating, while waiting, prepare the ingredients. Peel and finely chop garlic, onion and parsley. Cut bell pepper into thin slices.

Step 4 : Simmer the Sauce

Add onions to the pot and sauté until translucent, then add garlic and bell pepper, cooking for 5 minutes. Pour in the reserved pasta water and bring to a boil, add cooking cream and pasta, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 5 minutes and add the parmesan cheese and toss.

Step 6 : Serve and Enjoy!

Place the pasta on a plate garnish with chopped parsley and serve with toasted garlic bread on the side. Best serve with a squeeze of lemon.
