Before you start

Preheat the oven to 180 Degrees Celcius or a bread toaster. Please wash your hands and rinse all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to cooking. Take out the garlic butter from the fridge.

Step 5 : Toast the Bread

Place bread slices on a tray. Toast in the oven for 2 minutes, spread garlic butter, then toast for 2 more minutes until golden

180 g Linguine Pasta
280 g Chicken Breast
10 g Cajun Seasoning
30 g Parmesan Cheese
20 g Butter
7 g Garlic
100 g Button Mushroom
7 g Fresh Parsley
95 g Fresh Lemon
200 ml Pasta's Cooking Water
150 ml Cooking Cream
130 g White Bread, Sliced

Step 1 : Marinate the Chicken

Place the chicken strips in a mixing bowl. Add 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese, a generous sprinkle of Cajun spice (spicy) for heat, and a drizzle of oil. Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper, ensuring the chicken is well-coated. Allow the chicken to marinate and absorb the flavors while you prepare the pasta.

Step 3 : Pan-fry Chicken and Mushroom

Heat a cooking pot, drizzle of olive oil. Place the marinated chicken and cook for 6-8 minutes, until golden brown. Add the chopped garlic and sliced mushrooms to the chicken, stirring and cooking together for 3-6 minutes until the mushrooms are tender.

Step 2 : Prep the Ingredients

While the pasta cooks, peel and finely chop the garlic, clean and slice the button mushrooms. Finely chop the parsley, including the stalks for added flavor. Halve the lemon and squeeze its juice.

Step 4 : Cook the Sauce

Pour the measured pasta cooking water into the same pot, add the cooking cream and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice per person. Keep boiling for 3-5 minutes, then add the cooked pasta, parsley, and butter. Season with a pinch of black pepper and salt to taste. Toss for 3-6 minutes.

Step 6 : Serve and Enjoy!
