Ingredients
Step 5 : Toast the Bread
Place bread slices on a tray. Toast in the oven for 2 minutes, spread garlic butter, then toast for 2 more minutes until golden.
180 g Spaghetti Pasta
200 ml Pasta's Cooking Water
5 g Garlic
5 g Basil Leaves
60 g Red Cherry Tomato
100 g Fresh Lemon
300 g Shrimp
10 g Butter
6 g Cajun Seasoning
100 ml Cooking Cream
45 g Garlic Butter
130 g White Bread, Sliced
70 g Home Made Pesto Sauce
6 g Parmesan Cheese

Step 1 : Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add the pasta, cooking for 10-12 minutes until al dente. Drain the pasta, saving a cup of the pasta cooking water for later use.

Step 3 : Sauté the Shrimp
Marinate the shrimp with the lemon juice, cajun spice, black pepper and a drizzle of olive oil, then heat a medium pot over a medium-high heat. Once hot, add the shrimp and cook for 1-2 minutes, add the cherry tomatoes and cook for another 2 minutes.
Step 2 : Prep the Ingredients
Peel and finely chop the garlic. Pick and finely chop the basil leaves. Halve the cherry tomatoes. Slice the lemon in half and squeeze the juice into a bowl.
Step 4 : Simmer the Sauce
Pour the cooking pasta water and cooking cream. Add the basil leave and bring to a boil. Simmer for 3-5 minutes. Add the cooked pasta and simmer for another 3-5 minutes. Stir in the butter, black pepper, salt and pesto. Continue stirring for 1-2 minutes.
Step 6 : Serve and Enjoy!
Serve the pasta on plates, topped with the Cajun butter shrimp, and serve with the golden, toasted garlic bread.
