Step 5 : Make the Dressing
Cut the lime in half, squeeze its juice into a small bowl, and add the fish sauce and 1 tablespoon of olive oil per person. Stir the mixture until well combined.
400 ml Water for Rice
180 g Jasmine Rice
20 g Lemon Grass
7 g Ginger
7 g Garlic
320 g Minced Beef
6 g Homemade Thai Spice
10 g Basil Leaves
10 g Honey
20 g Peanut
140 g Green Bell Pepper
60 g Red Cherry Tomato
7 g Spring Onion

Step 1 : Cook the Rice
Wash and rinse the jasmine rice. Bruise the lemongrass and tie it. Bring a pot of water to a boil with 1/2 tsp of salt and the tied lemongrass. Once boiling, add the rice and cook uncovered for 1-3 minutes. Then, cover and cook on low heat for 12 minutes.

Step 3 : Final Touches
While the beef is cooking, chop the basil leaves and crush the peanuts. Add Thai spice and honey to the beef. Then, add the chopped basil, stir for a minute, and finally add the crushed peanuts.
Step 2 : Pan-fry the Beef
Peel and finely chop the garlic and ginger. Heat a cooking pan with oil over medium heat. Add the chopped ginger and garlic and cook for 10-30 seconds. Then, add the minced beef and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until browned.
Step 4 : Make the Salad
Cut green bell pepper in half, remove the seeds, and chop into thin slices. Halve the cherry tomatoes and chop the spring onion. Peel the carrot and grate it. Place all of these ingredients in a mixing bowl.
Step 6 : Serve and Enjoy!
Finally, divide the cooked rice onto serving plates, place the basil Thai beef alongside the salad. Drizzle the prepared dressing over the salad.
